2nd NISALS 2011 Jena

The 2nd NISALS convened in Jena, Germany, in November 2011 on invitation of Julian Grosskreutz and was recorded for attendees unable to participate. Current methodological developments in ALS MRI research were discussed in more detail, like 7T MRI, Quality control in voxel based morphometry and, as a promising modality, susceptibility imaging. Michael Weiner from the ADNI consortium gave a very interesting remote talk on the necessary groundwork to implement MRI in clinical trials. With intense group discussions on governance of a functional international network in ALS MRI the meeting closed with Michael Benatars invitation to Miami in 2013.
